Kettle Creek Weddings – Officiants Extraordinaire

I have attended hundreds and hundreds of weddings… and heard excellent officiants, and unfortunately quite a few who I think need to work on their skills.   There are many wonderful private officiants out there, but by far, the most consistent, professional group of wedding officiants I have ever encountered are the wonderful people of Kettle Creek Weddings.

Kettle Creek Weddings Windermere Manor LondonWayne and Rosanne Prevette are the owners, and officiants themselves, of Kettle Creek Weddings.  There is an executive team that works full time to make sure that your wedding ceremony is exactly what you expected it would be and to help you plan the perfect ceremony. Part of the executive team , Ken and Patti Lofgren, are faces I see frequently as well and I love them too! Well, I love all of them. Honestly, if I was getting married now it would have to be a Kettle Creek Wedding officiant performing the wedding ceremony. Seriously. They rock.  (Maybe I’ll renew my vows for our 25th anniversary and have them do that. Hmmmm…. Wonder what my husband will think about that idea!)

Rosanne and Wayne have a team of staff that perform ceremonies of all kinds across Ontario.  Each officiant is hand picked and trained to Kettle Creek Weddings (KCW) standards, which are very, very high. Not once have I ever heard a KCW officiant make an inappropriate comment, dress unprofessionally, show up late or be unprepared. They never forgot the bride and groom’s names, are never boring and always know personal details about the couple that they incorporate into their comments. They always offer a personal touch. Their stories or comments are delivered in a timely and entertaining manner, while maintaining the integrity of the marriage ceremony and the emotional aspect of the moment.

Kettle Creek Weddings Outdoor TentThey always help out the photographer by making sure they are not destroying my shot of the first kiss and the register signing. Even going so far as to check in (discretely of course) with me to make sure I got the shot of the signing of the register before they have the bride and groom move.

Getting married somewhere unusual? They are up for anything!  Wayne has even performed a wedding ceremony at centre ice while wearing a referee jersey!  (A far cry from his usual well groomed business suit.) Classic and traditional or modern and fun, Kettle Creek Weddings is up for it. Just ask.

Want an alternative to City Hall?  Using the newly renovated gorgeous chapel… The Rose Chapel… at Best Western Stoneridge Inn (we love Stoneridge too, but that’s for another blog J) you can get an off-prime ceremony completed at special pricing. Perfect for those who want something more than City Hall but don’t want a full traditional wedding.

On top of all that… they do more than just weddings!   They also officiate at New Life Celebrations, Coming of Age Celebrations, Life Celebrations (Funerals), and Celebrating Relationship events too.

Kettle Creek Weddings is active in the community with their own Children’s Charity specifically designed to help Canadian children. PAC4Life is a registered charity and proof that the Kettle Creek Weddings staff practice the same love that they talk about in their ceremonies.  They are kind and loving individuals and that comes across in their work.

Alright, enough with the mushiness!  In short, I love Kettle Creek Weddings and I know that you will too.
