Manisa and Paul did not want the traditional church wedding. They wanted their wedding to say something about who they are, and they love to travel, love to hike and see nature. Living in Toronto, Algonquin Park is not too far away and while camoing they came across Little Joe Lake and a collection of cabins and a large gorgeous main building. What was that!? They soon discovered it was Arowhon Pines Resort. Arowhon Pines is a small, rustic 50-room summer resort located in the heart of Algonquin Park, a huge nature and wildlife preserve. With a top notch restaurant, their wedding weekend was sure to be perfect.
And then… it rained. And it got cold. But that didn’t matter. Manisa and Paul were getting married and less than ideal fall weather was not going to change anything! We had to hurry a bit through the photos, so as not to give the bride pneumonia, but Manisa and Paul were not disturbed by it. Please take note of the photo below with Manisa’s Dad taking a photo of me. I am pretty sure he didn’t see a single thing the whole day without viewing it through the lens of his camera. I had to get a photo of him taking a photo!
This was one of my most special couples ever and I cannot describe how happy I am that they found each other. It was a beautiful location, with beautiful souls as guests and the sweetest couple on the face of the earth.
