FAQ

First, I’ll answer your questions… mine are at the bottom.

How can we meet with you? Where are you located? Where do you work?
Jules Eileen Studios services weddings and couples in Southern Ontario, all of Canada, and the World (in countries agreeable to international visitors working abroad), so meeting in person isn’’t always possible. I can meet you in most areas in Southern Ontario Canada (I primarily work out of Whitby  near Toronto – and London, Ontario) and can always meet you via internet video chat if you wish.

Will there be a second photographer at our wedding?
A second shooter is an absolute must for capturing the action from a different perspective.  I cannot be in two places at once, so I work with a team and choose highly skilled and qualified second photographers to work with me to ensure your day is properly covered.

Can we choose the pictures that go into our album?
The Wedding Story album is a collaborative project. I already have an idea of your style; I was a part of your wedding day after all. I ask for a list of your top favourite images and discuss a few things about your desires for the album and then I go to town and design you the most rocking wedding album you can imagine.

Are the images retouched?
I try to keep your images as clean and natural as possible and take the photos in as flattering a manner as possible so you need little retouching in the first place. I believe photos should look like photos, not filtered college art projects. Special effects and such date the images. I capture moments that will never go out of style. Album images are completely retouched, disk files are print ready and full retouching can be added, please inquire.

How do we book you?
Let me know when and where you are planning on getting married.  If I’’m available on that date and we think we’re a match for each other, I’’ll send you a contract to review. A 50% retainer fee is required to hold your date. I recommend meeting first though, either in person or via video chat. Simply contact me and we can set that up.

Will you travel to us?
Absolutely!!  I love destination weddings and new locals (did I mention I think I have the best job in the world?!)  The travel fee varies depending on the location and time of your event. You’ll find the travel fees quite reasonable as I charge at cost, meaning that I don’t make anything extra from travel.

Who will be shooting our wedding?
Well, at Jules Eileen Studios, you get me, Jules!  All work displayed on the web is my work, with the exception of a handful of the images which were done by my team, so there will be no surprises. A second photographer will accompany me, their work must meet my high standards, but I am the primary photographer.

Do you have back-up equipment?
Of course. I suppose you have to ask this question, but really…– what photographer could call themselves a professional if they didn’t?!

How long until our photos are ready?
Your proofs will be online 4-6 weeks after your wedding date.  Album and reprint times vary but are generally 2-8 weeks for production and delivery.

Now I have some questions for you…

Are you ready to have fun?

Are you in love? Not a little bit. I mean, deeply, madly, head over heels in love?

If you are, then let’s talk, because I love a good Love Story.
